The scarcity of water at Tumaini University Dar es Salaam campus is due to poor infrastructure for water supply and inadequate water reserve.
Speaking with the repoter few days ago Mrs. Gertrude Nzota who is the member of staff management at Mikocheni campus, said that high cost and inadequate water reserves leads to water problem in this area.
Moreover, due to this problem we are to make sure that all the reserves that are available must be full of water once the car which provides us with water comes. Also the canteen management should do so.
She continued that, water is very important in human life and health wise, without water we are getting diseases like UTI if the toilets are dirty. Also toilets without water tend to smell badly.
Not only that, but also this system of purchasing from the car suppliers is very cost due to the fact that we are using more than ten hundred thousands of liter within three days.
